STATS
This is a complete guide on all of the stats that your character can have in the game, what they do, limits, etc
Basic Stats:
HP - life points of your character.
MP - mana points of your character. MP allows you to cast skills. Some classes have special skills which allow them to use MP to soak damage they receive.
SHIELD - 'shielding' life points of your character. This gets damaged first before your character does.
STR - increases your Melee Attack / Critical Hit / Block
**For Concerra Summoners, Ranged Attack / Critical Hits / Block increase
DEX - increases your Ranged Attack / Critical Hit / Block / Guard
** For Concerra Summoners, Melee Attack / Critical Hit / Block / Guard increase
SPR - increases Magic Attack / MP / Critical Hit
HEAL - increases HP / Shield
Attack - this is the amount of physical damage you inflict within a short range. This may sometimes be referrred to this as 'melee'.
Ranged Attack - this is the amount of physical damage you inflict within a long range.
Magic Attack - this is the amount of magical damage you inflict through skills.
Defense - this lessens the amount of physical damage you take, whatever range you get it from.
Magic Resistance - this lessens the amount of 'pure' magical damage you take.
Special Stats (1/3):
Elemental Res - These are the Fire / Ice / Lightning / Poison / Curse / Dark Resistances. These stats will lessen the amount of elemental damage you take. The elemental damage can come from 'natural' elemental skills that certain classes specialize on. For example, a Black Wizard will hit you with mostly Dark Attack Damage, a Seguriper will hit you with mostly Curse Attack Damage, and so on. Elemental damage can also come from physical damage classes from the Elemental Attack Damage gems on their weapons or their accessories.
Accuracy - The chances of your attacks landing. Because the equipment of the server has strong bases, this will be 100% for all players at all times.
Block - This stat allows you to block (completely negate) an attack you receive. It does not matter if the damage is 100,000. Once it is blocked, you get hit by 0 DMG.
Guard - This stat allows you to decrease the damage you receive by up to 80% maximum. The chances of a Guard instance happening is dictated by how high your Guard stat. However, the damage reduction is dictated by your Vitality stat.
Acceleration - This stat decreases the cast time of your sklls. In other words, you will be hitting your skills faster than usual.
Move Speed - This dictates how fast the movement of your character is on foot. A lot of skills and buff/debuff skills could either slow you down or speed you up.
Attack Speed - This affects how fast you hit 'normal' attacks. This is mainly useful for breaking gates or killing monsters which limit your damage to 1 like Siege Gates.
Special Stats (2/3):
Mastery - This stat allows you to negate the block and guard stats of your targets by a certain amount. Works on both PVE and PVP.
Vitality - This dictates the multiplier for your critical hits. This also determines the amount of DMG your Guard stat reduces per successful instance.
Destroy - This negates the resistance of your targets to critical hits.
Critical - This increases the chances of your attacks to be critical hits.
Critical Hit Res - This increases your chances for NOT receiving critical hits.
Critical DMG Def - This decreases the amount of DMG you take from critical hits.
Damage Res - This is a pure damage reduction which works on all types of damage you receive.
PVP DMG Res - This is a special type of damage reduction which decreases the amount of PVP damage you take. It works in junction with Damage Res.
PVE DMG Res - This is a special type of damage reduction which decreases the amount of PVE damage you take. It works in junction with Damage Res.
Abnormal Res - This is the rate at which you block abnormal statuses. An abnormal status is often defined as 'disables' in other games. These are stuns (complete stoppage), immobilization (prevention from moving), silences (prevention from casting skills), HP Drains, Movement Speed Decrease, sleeps (a stun variant), etc.
Melee DMG Res - This is a special type of damage reduction which works on all damages you receive from a short range.
Ranged DMG Res - This is a special type of damage reduction which works on all damages you receive from a long range.
Special Stats (3/3):
HP Recovery - The rate at which you recover HP per second. Note that it is not exactly 1 to 1 when you see it in all sources. Sometimes, when an item says 10,000 HP per second, it only reflects as 100 HP per second on the actual stats, etc - some with worse rates, some better.
MP Recovery - The rate at which you recover MP per second. Note that it is not exactly 1 to 1 when you see it in all sources. Sometimes, when an item says 10,000 HP per second, it only reflects as 100 HP per second on the actual stats, etc - some with worse rates, some better.
Shield Recovery - The rate at which you recover Shield per second. Note that it is not exactly 1 to 1 when you see it in all sources. Sometimes, when an item says 10,000 HP per second, it only reflects as 100 HP per second on the actual stats, etc - some with worse rates, some better.
Defeat Res - This determines by how much HP could you get flinched / knocked back. Getting flinched or knocked back constantly makes you unable to move or do anything. Getting flinched / knocked back once may interrupt your skill.
Cooldown - This determines the % by which your skills' cool time are decreased. i.e. The higher your cooldown is, the faster you can use your skill again.
Cancel Abnormal Resistance - This works as a negation to Abnormal Resistance. Note that this is not 1 to 1. 25% Cancel is widely regarded to be enough to make you hit a player with an abnormal status of 100%.
PVP Attack - The amount of PVP damage you inflict on other players.
PVP DMG Bonus - The amount of bonus PVP damage you inflict on other players.
Physical Penetration - This acts as a negation to a character's Physical DMG Res (Defense).
Magical Penetration - This acts as a negation to a character's Magical DMG Res (Magic Resistance).
Boss DMG Increase - Note that the tooltip says 'Boss Res'. However this is actually, Boss DMG Increase. This acts as a % bonus increase to your character's damage to Bosses.
