Crafting Guide
Crafting System
To start crafting, talk to NPC Dora (Craft) in Ardeca and choose a mastery.
You can only choose one at a time (Armor/Weapon/Alchemy). The mechanics for changing mastery is on the NPC description.
Open the UI via Ctrl + R or by clicking the menu at the bottom right of your screen.
Crafting items under the Common tab does not require a higher crafting level.
Crafting items under the Armor/Weapon/Alchemy tab require you to satisfy a certain crafting level.
You start Crafting at Level 1. To get to the next level, you need to craft whatever you can craft at Mastery Lv. 1
These items will be the "1st Grade Armor/Weapon Gemstone Material, 1st Grade Armor/Weapon Mudrock, and the Creator's Mudrock [Weapon]"

Once you are Level 2, you can still use the Craft recipes at Level 1 to level up from Level 2 to Level 3, then from Level 3 to Level 4, etc.
Changing craft mastery will reset that your level to 1. For example, if you have a Level 3 Weapon Crafting Mastery and you chose to change into the Armor Crafting Mastery, your Weapon Crafting Mastery will reset to Level 1.
Feel free to check out the items you want to see to get a gist of the requirements. Do not worry if you get confused. Every item and details will be in the Item Drop List Guide - where they drop, how to obtain them if they do not drop, if they require quests, etc.
Crafting via Aria (Craftman)
The NPC resides in Ardeca.
To craft in this system, you always have to talk to Aria. You cannot open this UI with any hotkey. There are various items which Aria can Process. Feel free to get used to the UI.
If you click at one of the options, you will see that there are various craftable earrings.
Let's go through an example of what happens when you craft an item. Let's try the Qune's Earrings.
The first level of the progression is usually the earliest version of the item. So Pale Moon Stone is the weakest version of the Qune's Earring. Farm this and the required materials, then process them. The upgrade is instant. The success rate is indicated at the bottom.
The result of the first craft is the Refined Moon Stone. You will be using this material as the base version for the next upgrade and so on. It may require different items.
Can the materials in this crafting style require the use of Crafting System (Ctrl + R)? YES. For example, Steel Anvil is a craftable material via the Crafting System (Ctrl + R).
Not only that, they can also be exchange items. Moonstone Gemstone is an exchange item that is available in the Blacksmith NPCs.
Can you skip over to the last step of the upgrade? YES. As long as they are tradeable. Some prerequisite versions are tradeable. You do not need to go all the way, but you are going to have to buy the 2nd strongest version from another player. This also applies for the 2nd step, 3rd step etc.
If the craft at Aria fails, you keep the base version that you used. Only the materials will be gone.
