Farming Guide
Summary
-
We'll break this down into two types. First, 100% AFK Battle Supporting which is the ability to AFK using the Battle Support system, Dungeoneering, and Boss Hunting.
Battle Supporting
-
This is an in-game system that allows a player to keep his character attacking at any map. Note that you can play multiple clients at once which is limited to 3x per device. For full details on how it works click here:
-
Popular maps are Mitera, Arcadia, Arcadia Prison, and Dravice Field. Here are a couple points about these maps for Battle Support.
Mitera
-
This is a DK Server map and allows PK. Players AFK here for the following materials: Mitera's Ghost Fragments, Mitera's Insanity Fragments, Mitera's Anger Fragments, Fortress Vouchers, Gniar's Stolen Scrolls, and Snowflakes.
-
Because the map is PK-enabled, you can almost guarantee that your AFK character here will be getting killed every couple hours.
-
For every set amount of monsters killed, this map activates the Red Hole event which makes a lot of monsters respawn around the following spots: Red Hole (Village), Red Hole (Tomb), Red Hole (Swamp). These monsters do not really drop anything but they give great EXP. You may want to consider AFK-ing around these spots.
Arcadia
-
This is a normal Server map (both Ark and Suki). Players AFK here for the following materials: Seed of Dreams, Gemstones, C Coin, Gniar's Stolen Scrolls, and a small amount of Argates (Copper, Silver and Gold).
-
There are three types, Polluted, Purified and Event. Purified map is useless. Polluted/Event maps have a minor difference. You can go to Arcadia Prison from Polluted, but not the Event. The number of monsters and drops are exactly the same with Polluted and Event map.
-
This map is not PK-enabled.
-
However, this is a special map. To survive in this map, you require Arcadia Protections which can be bought via D-shop or Seed of Dreams. Note that buying it via SOD is way way cheaper compared to D-shop.
-
Arcadia Protections generally last 1 hour. Some protections when given as a reward can last for 6 hours. If you have Holy Water, you can set up Arcadia Protection to be used every hour. Otherwise, you can use multiple Arcadia Protections on top of another and add up to however long you will be AFK. It is essentially a buff. 1 hour on top of another is possible, 6 hour on top of 1 hour protections are also possible.
Arcadia Prison
-
This is a normal Server map (both Ark and Suki). Players AFK here for the following materials: Liberty Essences, Gemstones, Snowflakes, C Coin, and Fortress Vouchers.
-
This map is not PK-enabled.
-
This holds a highly similar mechanic as Arcadia with a very minor difference. In Arcadia, as long as you never hit a monster, you do not need Arcadia Protections. However, as soon as you enter Arcadia Prison, your HP will get drained if you do not have Arcadia Protection activated.
Dravice Field
-
This is a DK Server map and allows PK. Players AFK here for the following materials: Crap Gems and Shining Dravician Ring.
-
This map is PK-enabled. However, this map is not popular to AFK in because of fewer valuable drops so you are mostly safe.
-
This spot is the most common for the Dravician Ring.
-
Check this page before trying to farm the Dravician Ring.
Dungeoneering:
-
A solid way of farming in Dekaron Rising is via doing the dungeons. Here are most of the dungeons, their drops, limitations and other factors with regards to the dungeons. Each dungeon has their own pages with full details, walkthrough, tips etc. Feel free to check that section in the guides for more information.
