These are exchange coins that are farmed from all maps. The most notable ones are Mitera, Arcadia, Arcadia Prison and Shangri-La.
They are used for the DK Merchants in Ardeca. You can buy DK Gloves from NPC Zeiss in Ardeca.

You can also buy the Ruin Argate and Ruin Mavric for upgrading the DK Gloves from NPC Lowe in Ardeca. You may also buy here Depellium (blue) and Saint Lana (green) which are buffs that give Max HP/MP 5% Increase and Max Shield 5% Increase.

This is also used as an entrance fee for Draco DK Square (via Draco Battle Herald NPC). This requires 50 C Coins.
