Weekend Events

3x EXP/DROP has been activated for the weekend.
Skill-Rating Challenge will end on February 20th, 11:59PM server time. Season 2 will start a few days later.
- IMPORTANT - Guild Ranking Lock: All participants in the SR rankings will have the guild they are in locked (in the rankings only) on Saturday at 11:59PM. If you your SR to be considered in a guild's SR ranking, your character must be in the guild before that time.
2x Donations event extended until February 21st, 11:59PM
Attendance event activated.

Qune Revamp

Qune is an important accessory. We've made it easier, but still challenging. Qune Earring is crafted at NPC Aria. A guide will be posted soon for those unfamiliar.
Various qune-related crafting materials have been made easier to obtain:
- New Moonstone Earring:
  - Added to Rising Helion (1500 SoD)
- Pale Moonstone -> Refined Moonstone
  - 50x Lava Stone -> 25 Lava Stone
- Steel Gemstone
  - Dr. Labo increased drop rate to 30-50%
- Helpyon's Flame
  - Helpyon Boss -> increased drop rate to 30-60%
- Moonlight Jewel
  - Drops from 3 bosses that have been added to Shangri-La
    - Bosses:
      - Contaminated Seleana
      - Furious Teleperion
      - Karon's Underling Hazard
    - Count: 2x of each boss
    - Respawn time: 15-30 min
- Shining Smelting Stone
  - Added to Rising Helion exchange: 3x Guardian Proof -> 1x Shining Smelting Stone
- Shining Polish
  - Increased droprate from Hidden Silenos Treasurebox to 100%

New Cosmetics

New Special Effect Costumes
- We've added a new cosmetic tier of costumes: Special Effect Costumes - that will require 300 Mystical Fabric instead of the usual 100. These costumes will have new special (not added yet) VISUAL effects but will not provide any stat advantages.

Skill-Rating System

Season 1 Winner Requirements Update:
- Competitors must have played at least 15 matches to be considered winners.
SR Adjustments
- Most adjustments will happen in season 2
- Adjustments that will apply to Season 1 that are not reflected in the SR ranking numbers yet:
  - Leave/DC penalty
  - Skill-rating decay (score decreases slightly if no match played within 3 days)
Season 2:
- Season 2 start date will be announced a few days after season 1.
- Season 2 rewards will be improved.

Balance

There are two major components to this balance patch. Both components are 100% official and do not contain any custom changes. Another way to look at it is that we have updated our skill files to the latest and greatest version. The purpose of this patch is to update our files to the latest balance before we make any adjustments (if necessary). However, as of this update all balance is 100% original and we plan on doing our best to maintain official KR balance.

IMPORTANT: Buff/debuff descriptions may not all be updated, but their effect in the stat window is accurate. It will just take us some time to handle the text.

Original Overall Balance Patch
- This is an official balance patch. We will continue working with official original version balance patches (not adjusted global balance where everything is adjusted for P2W items we don't have, like other servers have done).
- This is a balance patch that affects 76 different skills. In other words, 76 skills/passives were not the latest version.
- General Changes
  - Certain classes that were weaker due to the game shifting toward PvP Res and other macro changes have been buffed.
  - Aloken party-buffs, which dominated competitive aspects and too-strongly influenced team/party performance have been weakened (but self-buffs remain strong)
  - Animations
    - Many animation times have been decreased, which makes combat faster and more engaging while also making matches more skill based than spam based
    - Many animations now feel more natural, with some skills properly following targets (such as Dopios)
  - Bug fixes
    - Some buffs were not being applied correctly for various classes
Meister Balance Patch
- This patch primarily focuses on the Meister skills and GM skills.
- For this we have spent a lot of time to create detailed notes.

Changelog

Change-log Corrections/Inaccuracies:
- Some of the changes in the change-log below were already applied in a previous update by mistake.
- Mistakes in the changelog below:
  - Aloken - La Defense - the "modified" numbers are based on Lv5, NOT level 10.
Missing from Changelog Below:
- Some changes are missing from the notes below (mostly QoL stuff). This includes buffs to certain classes that weren't buffed in the notes below.
- Seguriper - Dopios - target now follows the target, animation speed increased, distance increased
- General - buff/debuff targeting improved on some skills
- Bagi Warrior:
  - Various skills buffed in damage, tanky-ness improved, various buffs/passives improved
  - Iron Flash - rollback bug should be fixed
