Ranking System Improvements
We are humbled that Colosseum PTM has continued to be a fun, competitive game mode for almost 30 seasons.
There are two major Colosseum PTM updates that are going to be applied. The following changes may apply while the servers are online via live-update (so no server downtime or patch notes).
Skill Rating Calculation Score
The current SR algorithm is the result of continuous improvement to ensure accuracy and fairness. We are planning two important changes to the SR algorithm (pending testing and validation):
Teammate & Enemy Frequency -> Consecutive matches (above normal distribution) with little variation in either teammate composition or enemy team composition will be weighted less. This means that if you frequently face the same enemies in multiple matches (within the same 10 round instance), the weight (# of points gained or lost) will be less significant.
Damage and Healing ->
We've been working on a new, state-of-the-art damage calculation and transparency system that allows you to see statistics related to both outgoing and incoming damage values inflicted. This new system (Rising DekaDux) will be taking into account by the skill rating algorithm.

The new overlay currently requires an additional download (one time). We plan to integrate it in launcher upon release.
We're also working on translating it to Chinese.
In addition to making the SR algorithm even more accurate, this will help us detect, track, flag, and penalize any form of abuse, unfair competition, inactivity, or win-trading. There will be no warnings and consequences will be serious.

Drops have been improved[INFO] This change was reverted due to an automatic bug-check and will be reintroduced in the next update.
Announcements/countdowns upon statue (to summon) spawn and destruction, as well as boss spawn, will be enabled
Announcements will appear both in-game via megaphone and on Discord countdowns.
Aloken
Optimized code for "Pibistab" skill to fix a bug that caused it to sometimes inflict 0 damage despite successful cast.
Trie Muse
Fixed issue with Bone Shard getting interrupted when casted.
