Tournament Rules

Double Elimination Format

• Main Bracket: Initially, all participants start in the main bracket. Matches are played as usual, with winners advancing and losers dropping into the loser's bracket.

• Loser's Bracket: Participants who lose in the main bracket move into the loser's bracket. Here, they still have a chance to continue in the tournament, but they must win all subsequent matches to stay in contention.

• Grand Finals: The winners of the main bracket and the loser's bracket eventually meet in the grand finals.

Note: Usually we have this so-called BRACKET RESET but we will not do that. Finals will be Bo3 only.

General Rules

• Venue: All Matches on DK Channel

• We will follow official rules.

• Permitted:

  • Consumable items (buffs/potions) are allowed

  • Event consumables (buffs) and runes will be disabled

Extended Matches & Class-Specific Rules:

• This will be clarified during matches as necessary.

• First Match: All skills are permitted for all classes

• Second Match: If first match results in a draw, the following healing skills will be restricted:

  • Half Bagi: Vampire Dance will be disabled

  • Segnale: All healing skills will be disabled (shield recovery skills allowed)

• Resurrection skills — See chart below.

• General Rule: Any match that reaches time limit (30 minutes) will be considered a draw

• Exception: Vicious Summoner and Concerra's invisibility buff skill is allowed but excessive use to prolong matches will result in:

  1. Warning (First offense)

  2. Disqualification (Second offense)

FAQ

Q1: What if I get disconnected/crashed and it's not my fault? Getting disconnected for any reason other than server issues that we can confirm will result in disqualification. However, if you are able to provide a screenshot of crashing/client bug and we can confirm it on the server side, we may be able to restart the match.

Q2: What if the other player is lagging? This happens very rarely and cannot be taken into consideration. People can't influence their connections and they're not doing it to gain an advantage. Also consider that their advantage can be your advantage too. Matches may be held on an isolated channel to ensure best performance.

Q3: How many accounts can I apply with? Register with TWO (2) different classes maximum. More than two entries or piloting another user's account will lead to disqualification.

Q4: What if a player is absent?

• Matches will continue, and absent players will be disqualified after their round ends.

• Dekaron Rising reserves the right to make any changes to the prizes prior to the start of the event. Adjustments will be displayed here.

Q5: How are prolonged matches handled? During the past PvP Events that was hosted by Eccle, some classes like Half Bagi and Seg can be drawn out until the end of the time limit (30 minutes). Here's how we'll handle this:

• Every skill will be allowed in the first match, but if it happens to be a draw, we will remove a regeneration skill from each class. (Example: Half Bagi's Vampire Dance, Seg's Healing Moss, and much more.)

• Invisible skill of Concerra gives buff and it's only normal to use it. However, if we find that it is being abused and just being spammed just to prolong the pvp, you will get one (1) warning before we disqualify you.

• A buff may be casted on both fighters.

比赛规则

双淘汰赛制

• 主支架： 最初，所有参与者都从主括号开始。比赛照常进行，获胜者晋级，失败者进入败者组。

• 失败者对阵表： 在主组中输掉的参与者进入败者组。在这里，他们仍然有机会继续参加比赛，但他们必须赢得所有后续比赛才能继续争夺冠军。

• 总决赛： 主组和败者组的胜者最终在总决赛中相遇。

注意： 通常我们有这个所谓的 BRACKET RESET，但我们不会这样做。决赛将仅进行 Bo3。
