NeOner Posted August 15 Author Share Posted August 15 (edited) if anyone else is having this issue after a fresh install or windows, i needed to download two files and install them in to the computer they are from microsoft website X86 https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x86.exe Permalink for latest supported x86 version X64 https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe make sure to install both. heres a link to the site https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170 thanks nitex for answering this for me it was a head scratcher.
